Summary of this volume: The QNDE meeting is the premiere international NDE event bringing together researchers from across the spectrum of engineering disciplines with scientists and statisticians and covering topics from basic research to application and performance assessment with probability of detection (POD). It provides an interface between basic research and early engineering through the presentation of current ideas and results focused on facilitating a rapid transfer to engineering development.
